Did you know that by the end of 2020, Tower Hamlets will have lost 54.6 per cent of its core funding over a decade. The Borough wants you to join in a Borough-wide consultation to help shape the future of council services as significant government funding cuts and growing pressures on services mean the council has to find £58m of savings by 2020. Mayor John Biggs says “We want to take a new approach to our budget in order to make the most of the money we have”.
