Action for Bow provides grants to organisations to provide services in Bow, East London that will promote local social and economic regeneration. In particular for: education and skills training; employment opportunities; recreational amenities; environmental and quality of life; regeneration and reduction of poverty; health promotion; crime prevention. Match funding will normally be requested from other bodies.
Grants during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-21 were targeted to support two local food banks (£83,750) and home learning for young people at two primary schools (£41,455); with a further £75,000 to eleven organisations providing activities for young people.
