The Roman Road Trust invites you to the launch party of Roman Road’s new weekly market on Saturday 19 March 2016. The day celebrates the opening of the Saturday market in the car park at the junction of the Roman and St Stephen’s Road.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy hot food, street music and market stalls selling unique and handcrafted wares, as well as a series of guided tours exploring Roman Road’s hidden secrets, from its heritage and ‘disappearing boozers’, to its best indie shops and visions for a community-led future. If you come early you may be able to spot Iron Man and Super Girl wrestling balloons into animals – children (and adults!) in fancy dress are most welcome.

Thanks to generous donations from Mayor of London Festival and London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the guided walks, music, entertainment and workshops are all free.
