Roman Road Christmas Fair comes to Roman Road Yard Market on Saturday 3rd December. Just like the Winter Festival 2014 it will be full of seasonal treats and fun to get us all in the festive spirit. Santa will be in residence of course, along with his merry band of hardworking elves while our Winter market will be chock full of perfect pressies, so be sure to bring your list.
As the 3rd of December is East End Independents Day and Small Business Saturday you can tick off your Christmas shopping at the special market filled with designer-made and vintage goodies and in Roman Road’s fantastic independent shops. Afterwards reward your success with a glass of mulled wine or a mug of hot chocolate with some super-squishy marshmallows.
The East End Trades Guild is arranging a walking tour entitled “Women of the East End” to be hosted by Alternative London. This will be followed by a Women’s Museum talk at Roman Road Pie and Mash stalwart G.Kelly’s. There’ll be art by local children on show at Butler and Stag and artist Stathi Papadopoulis will be creating a live masterpiece in Snap’s window.
The Roman Road Christmas Fair is free to attend and booking is not required.
