If you’re over 55, come along to the Timber Lodge Café in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a free day out packed full of light sports, activities and a cup of tea!
Available between 10am – 2pm, you can try out the following activities which will run for 30 minute sessions:

Walking Football – A slow-paced version of the beautiful game aimed at the over 50s.

Not so Quick Cricket – A relaxed version of your favourite summer sport.

Forever Young Parkour – a movement course, which helps improve balance and co ordination.

Silver Smashers Mini Tennis – Low impact Tennis ideal for beginners and those who haven’t played for a while.

Hula Fitness – Learn how to spin a hoop on different parts of your body and master a series of moves.

Box Start – A fun, non contact, Boxing session which improves footwork and fitness.

Yoga – Improve your flexibility, strength and all round fitness.

Supple Strength – A blend of gentle Yoga, Pilates & Body conditioning.
The activities are completely free and exclusively for over 55 year olds. A fun day out, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat and pick up some new hobbies.
