Deal has topped the list of the best places to live in England.
And after a classic beano coach trip the Geezers can absolutely recommend it as a great day out. It’s a one and a half hours ride to get to this seaside gem in The Garden of England.

Mobility issues are not a problem with scooters available for hire at £10.00 a day. Even if you’re not too steady on your feet you can still visit the café at the end of the pier or Deal Castle.

We managed to find a few of the local pubs and restaurants in the five hours we had and recommend the Shepherd Neame beer and the Ham egg and chips at only £6.00 available at the Landmark Bar.

The Geezers did a bit of mooching around the quaint back streets where we came across a blue plaque in honour of the great Carry On star Charles Hawtrey.

Looking forward to the remaining coach trips planned for later this summer.
