The Geezers are a group of older men in Bow in the East End of London who meet at least once a week for camaraderie and social events.
We have outside speakers visiting us, and go on outings.
May 2023 – Some Geezers at their allotment at Stepney City Farm
June 2023 – The Geezers at Victoria Park Bowling club
July 2023 – Tony, Zaffer, Joy, Roy and Paul on Norfolk Broads cruiser, Galway Girl
22nd Aug 2023 – Geezers enjoying cod and chips in The Britannia at Dungeness after arriving on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch miniature steam Railway
12th Sept 2023 – the Geezers hired a coach for a day trip to Eastbourne
7th Nov 2023 – painting the names of lost pubs on the Jerram Falkus site hoarding in Arnold Road Bow
When they are no going on outings the Geezers meet on Tuesdays from 1pm at the Tredegar Community Centre, 333 Morville Street, London, E3 2DZ (by Tomb Thumbs Arch). If you know of any elderly men who live in or near Bow, London, E3 who might benefit from joining the club please make contact through this website. We have space for some new members.
