The geezers club try to raise much needed funds for a new cause every year. Last year it was for The Alzheimer’s Society, this year it was for Headway East London. The geezers have strong links to Headway. We have geezers who have ABI’s and we also have members who are volunteers

We completed a long and very soggy walk from Little Venice to Limehouse. It was lovely to have old and new members of the geezers taking part. The walk started from Warwick Avenue with a picture opportunity next to one of London’s Cabmen’s Shelters.

Next stop Camden lock and market!

As you would expect Regents canal goes past some great buildings including what was the Snowdon Aviary. Next stop was Camden Lock and the market. Free samples of hot spicy chicken and curry was very welcoming.

One of a few canal side pub stops

We did find one or two canal side pubs on the way to a much needed break at Headway. We finished at Limehouse basin and the sun finally came out.

We raised over £2000 for Headway and made a few friends on the walk.
