Bethnal Green tour guide, David Charnick, is running his Death and the City guided walk on Sunday afternoon. David says: “The City of London is an ancient place. For nearly two thousand years people have lived and died there; there have been murders, plots large and small, tyranny and resistance. And there has been punishment.”

Sunday 22nd Oct brings a Vintage Fashion Fair to Clerkenwell. The organisers say, “With one-of-a-kind womenswear, menswear, accessories and textiles dating from 1900s to early 1990s, including designer names, iconic vintage labels and label-less rarities all for sale, it’s a vintage shoppers and paradise and a treasure trove of inspiration for design teams. On Sunday there’s a big Trafalgar Day parade in Trafalgar Square, free, just turn up, 10.30am-2.30pm.
On Sunday evening, across the river in Greenwich, you can enjoy an outstanding evening of comedy at Up the Creek Comedy Club.
All weekend (21/22 Oct 2017) there’s a big dog show at ExCel called Discover Dogs. Tickets are £15.40 in advance.
