The Local Plan Roadshow comes to the Bow Idea Store at Gladstone Place, in Roman Road Market, 10am-1pm on Saturday 30th January.

This will end a fortnight of public consultations with Tower Hamlets’ residents over shaping the future of London’s East End till the year 2030.  This includes ideas for housing, business developments, shopping, schools and green spaces over the next 10 to 15 years.

The Local Plan being compiled by Tower Hamlets Council is a guideline for planning consent for the next decade.

Be sure to be there if you have something to say about how the Borough should develop in the next 15 years.  Or if you can’t be there,  anyone living, working or at study in Tower Hamlets can join the Local Plan consultation online.

“Feedback from this consultation will play a critical role in shaping the future,” Tower Hamlets cabinet member Rachel Blake said.

“Affordable homes, jobs, leisure and shopping facilities are important. We want people to help harness opportunities by being part of the consultation to develop the Local Plan.”
