Community Champions are seeking volunteers to assist at the Councils annual fireworks display in Victoria Park on Saturday the 7th of November.
Although this is a free event we will be collecting voluntary donations from the public. Volunteers will be required to collect donations in sealed collection buckets as people arrive and leave the event.
Your safety would be considered and as such Volunteers would be allocated security personnel to work alongside them. The Council will also be developing a cash management system to support this arrangement.
The hours you will be required will be approximately 5.30pm until 8.30pm with a full briefing on arrival for all volunteers.
We are currently seeking more volunteers due to low response.
At the moment we are just collecting names of interested volunteers. Please confirm via e-mail if you are interested in volunteering to the Community Champions email.
